Payments– We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash payments for rentals. Sorry, no personal or business checks.
Reservations– All reservations require a $75.00 deposit to hold your reservation. Final payment and security deposit will be taken automatically One Week before delivery.
Cancellations– We understand life happens and offer a 100% refund of your deposit if you must cancel your trip over 6 months before the rental begins. If your reservation is within 6 months your deposit is non refundable. Any cancellations within one week will be charged for the whole reservation.
Insurance- All campers are commercial insured during your rental. If we deliver your camper then there is no need for you to purchase any additional insurance. If you are towing one of our campers, while connected to your vehicle, requires extra SLI insurance. You can either have your personal auto policy fill out our rider add on or purchase insurance from us. The additional insurance cost $16.95 per day To tow and to purchase our insurance requires the following to be met:
- At least 25 years of age
- No major violation in the past 3 years
- No DUI or major violation in the past 7 years
- No more than 1 distracted driving violation in the past 3 years
- No more than 2 accidents in the past year
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
Mileage- Travel trailers include mileage on their base rates, so take them wherever you want in the United States! Motor homes include a daily mileage allowance and then are charged an over mileage fee that varies by camper.
Security Deposit– All rentals come with security deposit (from $200.00-$500.00) that will be taken a day before delivery/pick up. Some special events have a $1,000.00 security deposit due to their nature (concerts, festivals, races, etc.). Security deposit will be refunded at the close of rental pending a damage inspection. Refunds on credit cards take up to 14 days to show. This is dependent on your bank, not our practice. If damage is done to the camper your security deposit will be held until repairs are completed and the remainder, if any, will be refunded to you. If damages exceed your deposit, the remaining balance is due 14 days of return. Security deposits can not be in the form of cash, they must go on a credit or debit card.
Pets- We understand your pets are a huge part of your families life and that is why some of our campers are pet friendly! There is a $50.00 pet fee for professional cleaning after the close of your rental. Pets must not be left alone in campers and you are responsible for 100% of any damages done by your pet.
Smoking- Southern Michigan Camper Rentals campers are 100% smoke free. If you must smoke it must be done outside of the camper. Any evidence of smoking will result in the forfeiture of your entire security deposit.
Check in/Out Times- Most campgrounds offer a 3:00 check in time. We schedule deliveries and pick ups on a first come first serve basis. If delivering to a private residence earlier check ins can be arranged. We cannot guarantee all reservations will get a 3:00 check in time and some will be later depending on demand.
Running Late- We schedule pick ups and deliveries on a tight schedule and ask our customers to be on time as we are. Being late can result in other customers having to wait. We reserve the right to charge up to $25.00 for every 30 minutes you are late.
Cleaning- All campers must be returned in the same clean condition they were received in, including, but not limited to, clean bathroom, floors, dishes, fabric, and camper exterior. Failure to clean the camper can result in up to $100 cleaning fee.
Holding Tanks- If your camper is delivered by us there is no need to dump the grey/black tanks. If you are towing we require you to empty both the black and grey water tanks. Failure to do so incurs a $35.00 tank dumping fee.
Awnings- We allow all renters to use the campers awnings, although we discourage their use. Some are electric while others are manual. We provide detailed directions on how to use them and when they shouldn’t be used. All awnings are NOT rated for high winds or heavy rains and any damage resulting from their use is 100% renters responsibility. Awnings cost up to $2,500 to replace.
Contract- All renters are required to sign our rental contact. We try to save paper and use adobe sign, what this means is we’ll email you the contract where you can read it over, then sign digitally. Once signed you will receive a copy for your records.
